This track was written using Opcode's Studio Pro software. It was my first use of samples without a dedicated hardware sampler. The juxtaposition of the hardcore techno drum loop and the classical sixties movie music is meant to emphasize the desire of Americans to escape into the shopping mall. As David Byrne once said, “Shopping is a feeling.”
